Libby is a multi-generation Louisianian. Raised in Abbeville, LA, a town settled by descendants of the Acadians displaced from Nova Scotia, she studied at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and the University of New Orleans. Libby is a veteran tour guide having worked for Big Easy Tours, Gray Line, Tastebud Tours, Free Tours By Foot, and recently started her own company, Lucky Bean Tours. She’s also a proud member of Colossal Underacheivers. Her recipe for Turtle Pie is nationally known and locally famous, having been featured in Pascale Ledraoulec’s book American Pie: Slices of Life (and Pie) from America’s Back Roads.
